How to Edit a User's Privileges

To view or manage a user's roles and privileges:

  1. Log in as an Admin.

  2. Go to Users & Groups > Users on the left-side menu.

  3. Use Modify Filter to search for the specific username/email.

  4. Locate the required user and click on their username.

  5. Go to the Roles & Privileges tab.

This tab shows you all the roles currently assigned to the user.

Some Roles and Privileges explained

Role

Description

Public Vendor Administrator

Public users who will be able to see the vendor screens, e.g. My Sales

Ability to bid as Reserve

Sales Administrator

Auction administrators

Uploader

Uploader of auctions and lots

Content Editor

Allows a user to only edit CMS content

Collection Admin

Ability to manage collection of items within invoicing

Manage Invoicing

Manage invoicing, collections and payments
