How to Switch Cameras on the Webcast Console

⚠️ Please note:

The option to switch cameras will only appear once you start streaming, as a valid connection to Vonage must exist first.

Steps to Switch Cameras

  1. Access the Webcast Console

  2. Go to the Auction Controls & Stream Settings tab

  3. On the Live Stream section, set:

    • Feed Provider to WebRTC (HTML5 streaming)

    • Feed Type to Video

    The Run Test button will disappear once 'Video' is selected, as it's no longer needed.

  4. Click Send
    You should see a confirmation that the WebRTC feed is configured but no streams are currently being published

  5. Click Start Publishing to begin your stream
    (To stop, click Stop Publishing)

  6. Once your video is running:

    • Use the dropdown menu to select a different camera

    • Or click the camera switch icon to cycle through connected cameras
      ​

⚠️ Please note:
If the dropdown and button are inactive, it means that you only have one available camera that can be used.
