A hard refresh forces your browser to reload the most recent version of a page, clearing cached files like scripts or stylesheets. This is often helpful if a site isn’t displaying or behaving as expected — especially after a BidJS upgrade.

When to Try It

  • A user is seeing outdated content

  • A page layout looks broken

  • A recent change isn’t showing up

  • It's recommended it as a first troubleshooting step

How to Hard Refresh

Chrome, Firefox, Edge

  • Windows: Ctrl + F5

  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R

Safari (Mac only)

  • Option + Cmd + E (clears cache)

  • Then refresh with Cmd + R

If you're unsure whether a hard refresh is appropriate, get in touch on [email protected].
