You can set a Reserve Price for items that are:

  • Of type LOT, and

  • Have a purchase option of NONE, MAKE_OFFER, or BUY_NOW

What Bidders See

When a bidder places a bid that does not meet the reserve, they’ll see a label like this in yellow:

There is no indication of the actual reserve price — only whether it has or hasn’t been met.

Once a bid meets or exceeds the reserve, the label updates to:

This helps inform the bidder that their offer is now eligible to win the lot, assuming no further bids are placed.

What Non-Bidders See

Even users who are:

  • Logged out

  • Not registered, or

  • Haven’t placed a bid

...will see the same Reserve Met / Not Met label status as everyone else.

Items Without a Reserve

If an item has no reserve price, the display will appear like this:

⚠️ Please note:

This reserve label display can be disabled via configuration. For more information on how to do that, refer to our technical documentation here: Reserve Label Visibility
