Purchase Cut Off is a setting that disables purchase options—such as Make Offer and Buy Now—once an auction reaches a specified time before its end (e.g. 48 hours before the auction end date/time).

After the cut off is reached, users will only be able to place bids, depending on your auction settings.

⚠️ Please Note:
Purchase Cut Off does not apply to Listings.
Listings will continue to display purchase options until the item closes.

How to Set or Edit the Purchase Cut Off

  1. Navigate to your auction

  2. Go to the General Settings tab

  3. Click the Purchase Cut Off tab

  4. Select the desired cut off time

  5. Click Save Auction

The cut off time determines how long before the auction end the purchase options (e.g. Make Offer / Buy Now) will be disabled.

⚠️ Please Note:

If you select "no 'buy now' option", the Buy Now button will remain active until the final minute for both Lots and Listings. (Please be aware that this configuration will cause the "Make Offer" button to remain hidden as expected.)
