How to Make an Auction Public (Approving Auctions and Items)

To make an auction appear on your public site, both the auction and at least one item must be approved and in LIVE status.

Step 1: Approve the Auction

  1. Log into the admin site

  2. Go to Auctions & Items > View Auctions

  3. Locate your auction
    If it doesn’t appear, click Modify Filter and adjust your settings

⚠️ Please Note:

When you first create an auction, it will automatically change to Preview status; or Draft, if you manually select that option.

4. On the Actions dropdown menu, click on Approve

5. Click Confirm on the pop up window

⚠️ Important:

As soon as you approve at least one item and your auction is set to LIVE, it will appear on your public site immediately.

Step 2: Approve Items

  1. Log into the admin site

  2. Go to Auctions & Items > View Auctions

  3. Locate your auction
    Again, use Modify Filter if needed

  4. Click the Items link for your auction
    ​

  5. Approve items:

    • Approve individually by clicking Approve on each item
      ​


      ​or

    • Select multiple items using the checkboxes, then click Approve from the top menu
      ​

  6. Click Confirm on the pop up window
    ​

⚠️ Please Note:
Even after an auction is live and public, the bidding start time is still controlled by the Auction Start date in the Dates tab of the auction settings.
