How to Export Unsold Items Into a New Auction

You can easily reuse unsold items from a closed auction by exporting them and uploading them into a new auction as fresh items.

⚠️ Important

Items need to be exported from the closed auction BEFORE the auction is reconciled.

Exporting Unsold Items from a Closed Auction

  1. Log in to the admin

  2. Go to Auctions & Items > View Auctions

  3. Locate your auction in the list

    • If it doesn’t appear, click the yellow Modify Filter button to adjust your search settings

  4. Click on the number of items on the Items' column from the relevant auction.

  5. Select any unsold items you want to carry forward.

  6. Click Export Items on the top menu.
    ​

  7. A .csv file with the items' details will be downloaded to your device
    ​(Note: photos and bidding history are not included).

Uploading the CSV File to a New Auction

  1. Use the exported CSV to upload the items to a new auction via the standard bulk upload process.

⚠️ Important

  • Before uploading the exported file to a new auction, clear the lot numbers from the CSV file so the system upload them as new items.

  • Some editing will be necessary when uploading the new items. Red markers will appear on the fields of items that need editing.
