Uploading Images

  1. Log in to the admin page.

  2. Find and click on the auction you want to add items to.

  3. Click on the Items button in the menu.

  4. Click on the title of the item you'd like to add images to.

5. When on the selected item's page, click on Bulk Upload Images in the top menu.

6. Drag and drop your images, or click Choose Files to locate them manually.

⚠️ Please Note:
Images must be named in relation to the item (lot) number using either a dash (-) or underscore (_)

Examples:

  • 1.jpg = image for lot 1

  • 1-2.png = second image for lot 1

  • 2_3.tif = third image for lot 2

7. Once ready, click the Upload button on the bottom right.

⚠️ Reminder:
If an item does not have any images uploaded, a grey image icon will appear next to the item's title. This will be visible in the ‘Images’ column of the Items screen.

Image Size and Display Info

The lot boxes display in a 4:3 ratio by default. If your original images are in a different ratio, they may appear differently than expected on the front end.

If that's the case, you can:

  • Edit your images to be in a 4:3 ratio before upload, and/or

  • Look into the image display options that BidJS provides

The default display setting is fill, but you can change this to any of the options listed in our installation documentation.
This will likely require input from a technical team to implement.

We recommend using the highest quality / DPI images you can.
