How to Generate and Manage API Tokens
API tokens allow you to securely authenticate and interact with Bidlogix APIs.
This guide explains how to generate a new token, store it securely and manage existing tokens.
Before you begin
To generate API tokens, you’ll need:
An eligible Bidlogix subscription plan that supports API access.
The appropriate administrator permissions to manage API tokens.

Step 1: Navigate to API Tokens
Once the necessary permissions have been enabled:
Log in to your Bidlogix Admin.
Select Integrations from the left-hand navigation menu.
Click API Tokens.
From here, you can generate new tokens and manage existing ones.
Step 2: Generate a New API Token
Click Generate Token.
Enter a descriptive name for your token so you can easily identify its purpose.
Click Generate New API Token.
Copy your newly generated token and store it somewhere secure.
⚠️ Important: Save your token!
Your API token will only be displayed once.
After you generate your token, it will no longer be visible once you refresh or leave the page, or generate a new token.
If you lose your token, you’ll need to generate a new one.
We recommend storing tokens securely in a password manager or secrets management tool.
Step 3: Managing and Rotating API Tokens
For security, all API tokens automatically expire after 365 days.
You don’t have to wait until a token expires to replace it. You can rotate your tokens at any time by:
Generating a new API token.
Updating your integrations to use the new token.
Disabling or revoking the old token once it’s no longer needed.
Regularly rotating your API tokens is a good security practice and helps protect your integrations.

Once access has been provided, you will be able to navigate to API tokens via the Integrations nav in the left-hand menu of the admin.
